Our Senior Adult Ministry
"Now that I am old and my hair is gray, do not abandon me, O God! Be with me while I proclaim your power and might to all generations to come." Pslams 71:18
Our Senior Adult ministry is called "PEP" which stands for People Enjoying People.
PEP meets monthly for a carry in meal followed by a special guest. It may be anything from a school band, a local business, a ministry leader, or just about anything that is interesting and fun.
PEP also takes day trips regularly. They may go to an area attraction, a Branson show, tour a business, visit a museum, go sightseeing, and more.
It is always fun and they usually find a very good restaurant along the way.

But it is more than just fellowship and fun.
PEP takes on a special missions or service project monthly. They may raise funds or provide other support for an area cause or ministry. They also stock the "Little Red Hen" food pantry. This provides food for church members in need. Here are some of this years scheduled projects for 2010:

October-December: "Angel Tree". This involves providing Christmas gifts for children of inmates in correctional institutions. The children should not have to suffer for a parent's crime and this is a great blessing to kids. The "Angel Tree "culminates with a Christmas party where the kids and their caregivers come and have dinner and receive their gifts.
Call the church for meeting times or more information. Anyone 55 and up is invited to come!
